Trim the wick
Keep the wick of your candle at the recommended length according to the label and trim it before each relighting
Protect your surface
Ensure you place your candle on a heat-resistant surface before lighting it
Melt the wax
Allow the top layer of wax to liquefy completely and melt to the edges to prevent tunneling
Safely extinguish the candle
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame and prevent smoke and wax splatters
Time for a new one
When there is approximately 5-10 mm of wax left at the bottom, the candle is burned out and it's time for a new favorite.
